Music Program:

Week 1:  For the next three weeks, we will be singing and moving to all types of holiday and winter songs.  This week we will start with "Sleigh Ride" and warm up our bodies and voices.  We will use bells to help us "Sing a song of winter."  "Little Snowflake" will teach us how to be snowflakes.  Then we will play our instruments to "Winter Wonderland" and finish up with scarves to "Snowflakes Falling from the Sky."

Week 2:  This week we will learn about different types of holidays.  We will warm up to "This is Christmas."  "Kwanzaa's Here" will introduce us to Kwanzaa while we pass the drum.  Next we will move and dance to "Hanukkah, Hanukkah, Hanukkah Menorah, and Dreidel Song."  We will play a rhythm band to "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" and then we will finish with Bing Crosby's "White Christmas."

Week 3:   This week we will warm up our bodies to "Rockin Around The Christmas Tree" and learn new sign language to "Where is Santa?" and "I'm A Little Green Tree."  Next we will play our bells to Mickey and Minnie's "Jingle Bells."  Then we will use our parachute to songs from the Grinch - "Trim Up The Tree" and "Mr. Grinch."  We will finish our day with rocking and singing, "We Wish You A Merry Christmas."

Week 4:  No Class.
